Our Great Ocean Road 2 Day Tour allows you to spend the night at Great Ocean Ecolodge in the gorgeous Cape Otway. This exhilarating two-day adventure will include up-close encounters with koalas and kangaroos plus a twilight walk before waking to set off towards the Twelve Apostles.

Experience this majestic coastal drive in style, with time to relax and fully appreciate the wonders of this world famous touring route. Stay on the lookout for some very special animals including whales, dolphins, echidnas and bandicoots. Your camera will get a good workout along this exciting itinerary and we will allow for plenty of photo opportunities. You will have time to stroll along the wild beaches or stop for a coffee at the striking Split Point Lighthouse and take in the awe-inspiring scenery.

You will stop at Apollo Bay, a tranquil seaside town set amongst the soft rolling hills, offering a great selection of cafes and restaurants where you can stop for lunch. Upon arrival at the Great Ocean Road Ecolodge, there will be some time to rest, and you can join a tour through the forest to experience close encounters with koalas, kangaroos and native birds.

After a sumptuous dinner, the local wildlife biologist will take you on a night walk before retiring to your room for a peaceful night’s sleep. As a passenger with us, you will be contributing to the Great Ocean Ecolodge’s Conservation Program to protect the local tiger quolls, koalas and unique flora of the region.

The following day you will wake to a leisurely breakfast at the lodge after which you may choose to go on a short walk to discover more of the local flora and fauna. We will then enjoy a picnic lunch before meeting up with the group to visit some of the star natural attractions including the ancient rock formations of the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. Finally, it will be time to say goodbye to this spectacular part of Victoria as we return for Melbourne.
