A Bit of History about Oceania Tours

Oceania Tours Established 2003

[row][column size=”1/2″ center=”no” class=””]

Oceania Tours, started trading in Melbourne in 2003 as an owner-operated small business. Fourteen years on, we have expanded our fleet of vehicles, our family of talented guides and our plethora of tours and we are now one of Melbourne’s leading tour operators for travellers visiting from abroad.

Our Mission

At Oceania Tours, we strive to provide each of our guests a fabulous day out. We know that the best tours are not just about ticking off the sights and taking some photos, but they are about the chance to get to know your guide and fellow passengers, interact with the locals, give back to the community and leave a positive impact on the places that you have visited. We have designed tours that are exciting, but also responsible and community-focused.

Our tours directly support the protection of native Australian animals and their environment as we visit the Great Ocean Road Ecolodge and Conservation Centre, Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park, Phillip Island Nature Parks and Healesville Sanctuary where we sponsor a platypus. We also offset our CO2 by partnering with Greenfleet for the planting of new trees. Our highly unique Aboriginal Melbourne Tour supports the employment of Aboriginal People in the Tourism Industry and promotes this very important sector.

We offer a fair, competitive rate for our services, allowing us to continuously re-invest in the business and improve the experiences we can offer. All this in an environment where Oceania team members are valued and where we have developed mutual trust with our trade partners.

“My personal goal for Oceania Tours is to work to deliver a service that our guests genuinely enjoy, and that is only achieved by taking on board the feedback after each tour to strive to constantly do better. We know that we are only as good as our last tour”, Sebastian Topet: Owner, Oceania Tours.

The Tours

We run a range of day tours and some multi day tours in Melbourne and around Victoria with an incredible range of destinations in Victoria as well as some highly unique experiences.

You can book a regular small group tour with no more than 11 passengers, or Oceania Tours can help you to create your own unforgettable itinerary on one of their Private Tours or Unique Experience Tours.

In Melbourne, you can choose between the Melbourne City Tour to visit the city’s star attractions, or the unique Aboriginal Melbourne Tour to discover the city’s fascinating indigenous significance.

The day tours to Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road combine nature experiences with wildlife and give plenty of opportunities to encounter Victoria’s incredible landscapes and friendly people.

Hotel pick-ups are included on all tours and airport transfers are possible. Oceania Tours also operates a fleet of luxury mini-coaches providing deluxe travel on a charter basis.
